Was IPhone 4 rushed to release?

I think the answer to that question is yes. I waited in line last Thursday on Launch day just to receive my awesome new toy. I was so excited. First off, I can say that the battery does not seem any better than my 3g. I still have to charge the thing every day-- just like my old one. Secondly, reception sucks even though I am getting full bars, 3g and I am right handed and I even bought a bumper case for 29.99. The call quality is not what it was on my 3g and I randomly drop connection to the internet for no reason-- I would say I have about an 80% failure rate for browsing over a 3g connection. Also it was noted today in the tech news-- Apple is looking for new Antennae engineers. LOL. Were the other ones canned? I don't think this product got alot of QA time and now Apple is paying for that.
